I am very proud of my last album (A Blind Eye To Love) and the way it weaves through so many music genres (and has orchestra on it!). So, by contrast, for my next album I'm returning to a single, more raw genre; blues-rock.

This next album features twelve tracks spanning a few different blues styles, from a Stevie Ray Vaughan inspired shuffle to a stripped-back old-school guitar, vocal and foot-tapping late-night blues.

And, yes, there will be a few tasteful guitar solos :)

As I always like to push myself with each new album, this will be my first with me playing the drums live (as opposed to using loops or programming them), along with all the basses, guitars and vocals. A true one-man band!

The difficulty with doing it all myself, however, is that I've no-one to bounce ideas off, to jam through things with or to be accountable to. So I've decided to share my progress with you, here so I don't feel like I'm creating in solitary.

There are four sections to this page:

1. A chart showing my overall progress, and a Songs Status spreadsheet screenshot to help you keep track of where I'm at
2. Short snippets of each song, which will be replaced with newer versions as they come (with the top being the most recent work, getting older as you go down the list)
